These are small lumps that appear on the eyelid, accompanied by redness of the skin and mild eye irritation, and in some cases, the eyelid may completely close. The causes of these lumps, known as "chalazion" or "meibomian cysts," are due to inflammation in the oil glands located in the eyelid caused by bacterial infections or hormonal imbalances in some cases.
